GE recalls gas dryers due to shock hazard (released 02-11-08)

On February 11, 2008, GE released a recall for about 1,200 gas dryers stating that they may be a shock hazard. GE believes that the failure could be with the short circuit in the dryer’s wiring which can cause a shock hazard in ungrounded dryers.
